PESS rally in support of armed forces Sher Gondal

Army’s veterans the other day under the arrangement of the Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) held Armed Forces Zindabad Rally to express their support for Pakistan Armed Forces and their top leadership.

Speaking on the occasion, the speakers enumerated the achievements and sacrifices of the armed forces in the defense of the homeland. They also highlighted the performance of the armed forces in different fields of national development, in natural calamities and floods, and paid tributes to soldiers for their dedication, sacrifices, and hard work.

They said recently Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz conferred the medal upon COAS General Bajwa in recognition of his significant contributions to defense cooperation between the two countries. This is a great honor for Pakistan and the veterans felicitate Gen Bajwa for receiving the Saudi highest award.

The rally participants raised slogans ‘Pak Afwaj Zindabad’, ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. They condemned those spreading negative propaganda against the armed forces and their leadership. They urged the government to take legal actions against the culprits involved in an anti-army propaganda campaign.

Earlier a sitting was held to discuss problems being faced by ex-servicemen and widows of the Shaheeds and deceased soldiers. DASB welfare officers were present who solved the problems on the spot. Most of the problems were related to pensions.
