PESHAWAR – More rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday evening/night.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a trough of westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely persist during the next 12-18 hours.
Under these conditions, more rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Shangla, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Kurram, Kohat and Bannu on Tuesday evening/night.
On Wednesday and Thursday, dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most parts of the province. Gusty winds are likely during the afternoon.
Peshawar’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 33-35 C on Thursday.
Meanwhile, rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.

Dera Ismail Khan remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 29 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 37 per cent.
In Peshawar, maximum temperature was recorded at 27 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 29 per cent.
