PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather for Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, polling day for Election 2024.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, cold and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most parts of the province on Wednesday evening/night, Thursday (Election Day) and Friday. Freezing and partly cloudy weather is likely in upper districts.
In Peshawar, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 02-04 C on Friday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in upper districts.
Kalam remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped 13 C below freezing.
In Peshawar, minimum temperature was recorded at 03 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 83 per cent.
