ISLAMABAD Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said that persistent efforts are needed to succeed in fight against the Coronavirus and to control its spread in the country. He stated this while chairing a high-level meeting on COVID-19 here at Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Shah Mehmood said that despite the government beefed up protective measures, the number of infected cases has increased and it required continuous efforts to bring situation under control.The meeting discussed the situation after resumption of international flight operation which was halted until April 4 and the ways and means to bring back stranded Pakistanis abroad.
