Peace tribe head seeks forgiveness over video scandal

The head of Balochistan peace tribe has extended his apology to the affected families following the emergence of the shameful video scandal in Quetta.

Reportedly, Lala Yousuf Khilji, the head of Balochistan peace tribe, sought forgiveness from the members of the affected family on behalf of entire Khilji clan in a video message on Saturday.

In his message, Lala Yousuf said that the entire Khilji tribe was humiliated by the shameful act of an individual.

Our sympathies are with the affected family, he said adding that such a man was not worthy to be called a human. He said such inhuman people had no religion.

He called upon the Hazara tribe to pursue this case and seek justice as the entire nation was with them. He was of the view that instead of handing over such persons to the police, they should be hanged publicly.

Meanwhile, police have got 14-day physical remand of accused Hadayat Khilji and Khalil Khilji who were arrested for recording indecent videos, raping.—INP
