PAL, PST to host Mazhar’s novel introductory ceremony

The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) in collaboration with the Parveen Shakir Trust (PST) is organizing an introductory ceremony of the eminent fiction writer Mazharul Islam’s recently published novel “Sarus Crane Apnay Khwabon mein se Urh kar ja Chukay Hain” today (Wednesday) in the academy’s Faiz Ahmed Faiz auditorium at 5.00 p.m. Chairperson of the PST, Parveen Qadir Agha will welcome the guests while Federal Secretary National Heritage & Culture Division will deliver a keynote address on the occasion. Among the participant speakers include Javeria Tameem, Ayesha Farooq, Sofia Shakil, Shoaib Khaliq and Bushra Taimoor. Director of the PAL Muhammad Asim Butt will present a critical review of the book.
