Pakistan’s foreign reserves fall by $54 million

KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reached $13,020 million as of March 01, 2024.

As per the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, foreign reserves held by the central bank stood at $7,895.7 million. Net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks stood at $5,124.3 million as of March 01, 2024.

During the week ending on March 01, 2024, SBP’s reserves decreased by $54 million to $7,895.7 million due to debt repayments.
