Pakistan’s first long-range 3D surveillance radar launched

The radar, with a range of 350 kilometers, was developed in collaboration between NRTC and Blue Surge, and it took four years to complete.

Pakistan’s first indigenous long-range 3D surveillance radar was also showcased at the defense exhibition IDEAS 2024. The radar has a range of 350 kilometers. Organizer Owais Rauf stated that this radar will be a breakthrough in aerial surveillance.

According to details, the IDEAS 2024 defense exhibition is being successfully held, where the Pakistani radar was also presented.

This 350-kilometer-range radar is Pakistan’s first long-range 3D surveillance radar. Organizers said the radar was developed with the collaboration of NRTC and Blue Surge and was presented at IDEAS for the first time. It will be a major breakthrough in Pakistan’s comprehensive air defense system.

The radar was developed by Blue Surge Private Limited, and the project had been ongoing for four years. Finally, Pakistan has achieved self-reliance in this field.

This radar will benefit Pakistan’s forces, and foreign delegates have shown great interest in it. Experts who observed the radar at the event praised it and described it as a significant advancement in the defense sector.
