KARACHI – Pakistani rupee maintained its winning streak against the US dollar, amid back-to-back gains in the inter-bank market.
On Thursday, the rupee witnessed 12th successive session against greenback, moving Rs0.27. With the latest appreciation, the rupee rate stands at 281.93, data shared by central bank said.
Earlier this week, the local currency registered marginal gain to settle at 282.20 against the USD.

In open market, the local currency witnessed gain against USD in the open market.
Data shared by ECs said rupee closed at 283.20 for selling and 280.79 for buying purposes
