ISLAMABAD – Chairman Prime Minister’s National Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed has announced the establishment of an e-gaming organization to provide a platform to six to seven million youth affiliated with this billion dollar industry where they can show their talent.
Addressing a press conference, Mashood said the government would hold training camps and sports competitions across the country to promote the best talent of the country.
He also announced the launch of “Pakistan Endowment Fund Scholarships programme” on the pattern of Punjab Endowment Fund to help students across the country.
The PML-N leader also stated that the scope of national youth loan scheme will be enhanced, adding that youth will also be provided with IT courses so they can avail employment opportunities.
The Chairman said agriculture, IT and skill development are the sectors which can accelerate economic growth as the short and mid-term planning, therefore, the government is focusing on strengthening these sectors.
