Pakistan Navy on Wednesday conducted a successful launch of surface-to-air missile FN-6.
A statement issued by Navy said Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) troops carried out Live Weapon Firing (LWF) of FN-6 Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) at Karachi.
Ground-based air defence GBAD system successfully fired surface to air missile on airborne targets.
FN-6 Surface-to-Air Missiles
Commander Coast Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz graced the occasion as chief guest. He also addressed the troops and appreciated conduct of successful missile firing.
Vice Admitral expressed complete satisfaction on operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy GBAD system, and emphasized that naval forces are fully prepared and capable to generate optimum response against any misadventure by the enemy.
