Advisor to Punjab Government Dr. Salman Shah Thursday reaffirmed that Pakistan will always be with its brothers and sisters in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) until they get the right to self-determination through a free and impartial plebiscite under the United Nations as per the UN Resolutions.
Kashmir has been under illegal Indian occupation for last over 70 years but the Kashmiris are continuing their struggle to get their fundamental right to self-determination, he said while speaking to Radio Pakistan’s current Affairs Program. The situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir became worse when the present Indian government abrogated article 370 and 35-A in order to change the demography of the occupied valley, he said, adding, at this point of time the resolution adopted in the OIC Foreign Ministers Council is of vital importance as it would be part of international records.—APP
