LAHORE – The Pakistan national team may see return of some players and the exclusion of others for the upcoming Twenty20 International series against New Zealand.

The series against New Zealand comprises 5 Twenty20 matches scheduled for mid-April, for which the announcement of potential players will be made after the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The sources said that Shadab Khan and fast bowler Naseem Shah are set to make a comeback in the home Twenty20I series against New Zealand.

Shadab Khan was not included in the team for the series in New Zealand; however, now he has shown better all-round performance in the PSL after fitness.

The sources also said that Hunain Shah and Khawaja Nafees could be included in the potential players, while consideration is also being given to Salman Ali Agha and Haider Ali.

They said that Haris Rauf is nursing a shoulder injury, which could make it difficult for him to secure a place in the team, while the selection of Muhammad Nawaz and Hasibullah could also be challenging.
