Pakistan Promotion Network Europe (PPNE) has launched Pakistan’s first export portal in partnership with ICV Tech and collaboration with Pakistan Embassy Sweden.
The opening ceremony of the portal was held at the Embassy of Pakistan for Sweden and Finland in Stockholm.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Zahoor Ahmed said that with better quality of products we can find a suitable place in the markets of Sweden and Finland.
At present the government is facing a dire situation in order to increase exports, it is necessary to focus on sectors like IT and Tourism and find new markets.
He said that the present government is making serious efforts to increase exports.
He congratulated the Pakistan Promotion Network Europe team on the launch of the Export Portal and hoped that the launch of the Export Portal would be helpful for the exports of Pakistan to grow in Sweden, Finland and in European markets as well.
Chairman PPNE Zubair Hussain said that our commitment is to be at the forefront in the service of the beloved homeland at all levels.
He said PPNE aims to protect export businesses from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, he further added that this new service will help businesses across Pakistan to identify potential new markets in the world and seize the new opportunities that come with becoming an independent trading nation, boosting jobs and growth in every corner of the country.
Zubair said that our entire team is thankful to President PPNE Dr. Taimoor Abbas and member Advisory Council PPNE Mr. Farhan Khan for their magnificent efforts to design the portal, Muhammad Sarwar Vice-Chairman PPNE said that the export portal would provide equal opportunities to every small and big trader of Pakistan, which would not only make Pakistani products easier to reach into the European markets but also make Pakistan more prosperous in the field of exports.
Dr. Timoor Abbas and Farhan Khan provided detailed information to the participants regarding the Export Portal.
The portal was inaugurated by the Chief Guests Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Zahoor Ahmed and Chairman Jasmine Foundation Saeed Sheikh.
Commenting on the portal, Saeed Sheikh said that this initiative of PPNE is ideal and we stand by PPNE every step of the way.
Trade and investment counselor for Scandinavia Mr. Ghulam Mustafa said such types of portals are essential to promote exports of Pakistan worldwide.
The event was attended by social and business figures from Malmo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, including social activist Syed Haider Bukhari.
