Pak Army Chief hosts Harvard Business School students for dialogue on peace, innovation

RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir hosted Harvard Business School Delegation as two sides discussed Pakistan’s Role in regional stability.

A statement issued by ISPR said the delegation of 44 students from Harvard Business School (HBS) Trek-2024, representing nine different countries met COAS at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi today on Thursday.

During the interactive session, Gen Asim discussed Islamabad’s pivotal role in promoting regional peace and stability, its relentless efforts against terrorism, and its commitment to upholding democratic values.

COAS stressed importance of education, critical thinking, and innovation in addressing modern security challenges, while highlighting Pakistan’s vast potential.

The top general encouraged students to form their own opinions based on personal experiences and cautioned them against the dangers of misinformation and fake news in the digital era.

Harvard students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to engage in a constructive and insightful discussion. This session follows the COAS’s recent interaction with students from various universities on August 20th, reaffirming his dedication to nurturing and inspiring the nation’s youth.
