PACE organizes ‘1st Junior CEO challenge’ at Rotary Club

Promoting inclusion, equality, enhancing creativity and problem solving skills amidst the students, PACE College of Advanced Studies organized Pakistan’s first Junior CEO Challenge, an Inter School business idea generation competition in collaboration with Rotary Club of Educational Development and All Private School Management Association.

More than 1000 Students from 60+ renowned schools of Karachi participated in this competition where top 15 qualifiers contested for Grand Finale of Junior CEO Challenge on13thNovember 2021 celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week. Adeel Durvesh Founder & Principal PACE College of Advanced Studies focused on the need of building entrepreneurial mindsets amongst youth of Pakistan. CEO PACE Ejaz Khan was overwhelmed to see the excitement amongst budding entrepreneurs specially girls sharing brilliant ideas. Project Lead Ms. Huma Jabeen said that we have created an opportunity for our youth to think out of the box.

Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Dr. FarhaEssa, Ms. Sabina Khatri, Mr. Syed Azfar Hussain, Dr. Naveed Yousuf, Amir Ismail, Muhammad Yaqoob Sultan, Hassan Daudpota and Khusnood Aftab were amongst the keynote speakers who encouraged the top qualifiers to win the title of Junior CEO Challenge 2021.

Speaking of the occasion Amin Ganny, Chief Operating Officer, Lucky Cement Limited said, “this is a great initiative for students to unlock their true potential and develop their creative thinking. Our youth can only excel through an entrepreneurial mindset and by providing such platforms we can empower them and equip them for success in future”.

He further added “Lucky Cement has already launched a number of scholarships and vocational training programs especially for the rural youth of Pakistan and by partnering in such initiatives we want to further strengthen our mission of empowering the youth for a better tomorrow”.
