ISLAMABAD – Capital Development Authority has sealed over 60 buildings over bylaws violations.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) initiated measures against illegal constructions within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) as part of a crackdown on unauthorized structures.

Building Control Wing and the Enforcement Directorate focused on areas such as the G-9/4 Sector and Gulberg Residencia during the operation. At least 38 buildings in the G-9/4 Sector were sealed for non-conforming use, meaning they were not being utilized in approved ways.

Amid the crackdown, Building Control Wing sealed 22 under-construction buildings in Gulberg Residencia due to the ongoing construction without the necessary permissions from the development authority.

Despite prior notices to the building owners, unauthorized construction contiunued, leading the CDA to take decisive action.
