BEIRUT – Israel escalated attacks on Lebanon, killing over 180 people and injuring hundreds of others amid fears of full-scale war in the region.
In recent strikes from Lebanon, over 180 people were killed including children, women, and medical personnel, raising significant humanitarian concerns across the globe.
International media reports said the barrage of rockets was fired from Hezbollah from northern Tel Aviv, prompting Israeli military to issue evacuation warnings for civilians in affected areas. The fighting further intensified along the Israel-Lebanon border, coinciding with the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Gaza’s Health Ministry disclosed detailed record of over 34,000 Palestinians who have died as a result of the ongoing conflict with Israel.
Israeli forces also targeted locations identified as launching sites for rockets, in what is said to be shift in Israel’s military aggression. Israeli Defence Minister urged people to remain calm amid surge in violence.
