The Nur International University (NIU), Lahore, organized “Fikr-e-Iqbal Youth Development Program” to pay tribute to Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
The chief guest on the occasion was Chairman Fikr-e-Iqbal Society, Pakistan, Muhammad Tahir Bahu who is a motivational speaker as well.
The other guests included Prof Dr Masood Naeem, Saith Akbar Ali and Dr Shoaib Tariq Warraich. The program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
Ms. Maliha Sami, Manager Student Affairs NIU, welcomed the chief guest. In his speech, Muhammad Tahir Bahu said that Iqbal is the leader who followed the concept of Khudi throughout his life that connected him with Allah, Sunnah & Quran.
He advised NIU students to follow the ideology of Iqbal and believe in themselves, to become true leaders. Prof Dr Naumana Amjad, Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences.
At NIU concluded the event and thanked all the guests. Prof Dr Naumana shared that all institutions under NUR-FMS System follow the mission to train and educate the youth of Pakistan based on Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s vision of “Fard-e-Kamil”. Later, NIU Registrar Hassan Mujtaba presented shields to the chief guest and others.
