Iftikhar Ahmad Awan, Chairman of the National Horticultural Society of Pakistan has strongly refuted a news item which appeared in a number of newspapers stating therein holding of so-called and fake elections for the Executive Council of the NHSP.
He said that some disgruntled members of NHSP in connivance with some non-members conceived the plot and reported in the newspapers.
The present Executive Council is working under the Chairmanship of Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Awan and have already announced through advertisements in newspapers holding of elections of the Executive Council of the society on July 30, 2023 in accordance with its constitution. The NHSP’s Executive Council intends to lodge an FIR against Dr. Pervaiz Ahsan who is the mastermind of this fake and fabricated election news.
