To modernize the Islamabad Police in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan keeping in view the needs of the new era and for providing better policing service, new mobile application “ICTP” of Islamabad Police has been launched.
The newly introduced service in another step of Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad, Muhammad Ahsan Younas for providing better policing services to the citizens. Besides it will also make the access of citizens to police much easier.
Giving details of the salient features of the new service, the IGP said that “ICTP” will be helpful for citizens to take benefit of registering online crime cases, crime advisory and other services like receiving traffic licence.
He said that by utilizing said service, when citizens would call on ‘15’, their live location would be shown which would help police in quick response to call in case of any emergency.
The Islamabad Police Chief said that the application also provides the information and details of the sexual offenders besides helping to get appointment and other important documents for traffic licence.
He was of the view that “ICTP” contains information and contact numbers of the police station, employees, registration of tenants and online application to get an “FIR” registered. Method to proceed for online appointment and applying for registration of foreigners was also part of the new service, he added.
