KARACHI – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed new charges on every passenger of all domestic flights in Pakistan, it emerged on Saturday.
According to a notification issued by the authority, every passenger of the local flights will have to pay Rs100 in wake of airport fee across the country.
The CAA has directed all airlines operating domestic flights in the country to collect the new charges from passengers and deposit to it.
Hundreds of people travel to different cities of the country through different flights, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Air Blue, Air Sial and Fly Jinnah.
With the imposition of the new charges, the aviation authority would be able to collect a significant revenue.

Every passenger of the domestic flights will have to pay Rs100 on each travel in wake of airport charges.
Who Will Collect New Charges?
The charges will be collected by the airlines on behalf of the CAA.
