LAHORE – The National Badminton Ranking Championship concluded in POF Sports Complex Wah Cantt on Sunday.
In the singles National Final, the contest was between WAPDA Sports Board’s (WSB) players wherein M Ali Larosh has beaten M Irfan Bhatti, turning out both, the champion and runners-up.
In the Women’s Single Competition, the final was held between WSB players, in which Ghazala Siddique defeated Mahoor Shahzad.
In the Men’s Double Category, the final was contested between WAPDA’s M Ali Larosh and Army’s Raja Haider with their contestants Awais Zahid and Zunain Javiad hailing from WAPDA, where the first pair defeated the latter.
In the Women’s Doubles Category, Saima Waqas of WAPDA and Army’s Ammara won the final by beating Ghazala Siddique of WAPDA and Palwasha from NBP in an extended three-game thriller.
