ISLAMABAD – Service suspension of Birth and Death Certificates in Islamabad adds further woes to residents of the capital city Islamabad.
A report shared by local TV channel said residents of Islamabad are facing hard times getting birth and death certificates due to the suspension of services by NADRA.
The suspension stemmed from Rs2 million debt that Islamabad Municipal Corporation (MCI) owed to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
It has been learnt that Municipal Corporation of capital city is at odds to settle its dues has led to the disruption of services, leaving people in dire straits to secure basic documents. Amid the worrisome buzz, NADRA confirmed that the service suspension was due to outstanding debt.
The suspension of these services caused major inconvenience to residents of Islamabad, resulting in delays and complications in various processes.
As all eyes are on the restoration of these services, Municipal Corporation is yet to clear air about situation. People were also not given any timeline for resolving the issue.
