ISLAMABAD – The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) has reduced delivery time for computerised national identity card (CNIC) in urgent category.

The authority announced the development in a social media post, stating that the delivery time for urgent application has been reduced to 15 days from 23.

Now citizens can get their ID cards in just 15 days by submitting urgent application.

It has clarified that no change has been made in the fee for the Urgent category as the existing fee structure will remain applicable.

As of March 2024, there is no change in fee of urgent category as it stands at Rs1,500.

As per the revised policy, it will just take 15 days for issuance of urgent CNIC.
