DUBAI – Pakistani citizens residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, can get their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) renewed by visiting Consulate General of Pakistan Dubai after paying the fee.
NICOP is issued by the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) to citizens of Pakistan who are residing abroad and are national of a country which has a dual nationality arrangement with Pakistan.
Any citizen of Pakistan can apply for NICOP and can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa.
Documents Required for NICOP Renewal in Dubai
Pakistanis residents living in Dubai are require to take their old NICOP and a copy of the passport with them while going to the consulate office to apply for the NICOP renewal.
NICOP Renewal Fee for Pakistanis in Dubai
Details available on official website of consulate general’s website shows the normal fee for NICOP renewal stands at AED 75 while it is AED 110 for urgent category and AED 150 for executive category.
Working House for Nadra Section in Dubai
Nadra section at Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai caters to 150 application per day on the basis of first come first serve. It receives applications from 8 am to 2 pm from Monday to Thursday and on Fridays the working hours starts from 8 am to 11 am.
