The major candidates contesting elections in NA-127 include Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Atta Tarrar, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) Matloob Ahmad.

The NA-127 constituency comprises Model Town Tehsil’s Charge number 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, Charge number 16’s Circle No 1, 2, 3, 4, Charge number 9 of Walton Cantonment’s Circle No 1, 2, 3, 6.

The total population in the constituency stands at 972,875, while there are 527,044 registered voters, of them, 273,014 are male and 254,030 are women.
