As both Republican and Democrat candidates accept the presidential nominations from their parties, campaign for White House have gained momentum with catchy slogans and promises. This election seems to be more important for Pakistani Americans or Muslim Americans who are believed to be key difference makers .Two prominent Pakistani Tahir Javed and Sajid Tarar are very active and in direct contact with the Democrat and Republican Presidential candidates respectively. Sajid Tarar heads the Muslim voices for Trump while business tycoon Tahir Javed is at forefront with Joe Biden in his presidential race.
Joe Biden is focusing on middle and working classes, Trump Covid 19 failure, talking against white supremacy and equal opportunities for Muslims while Trump portraying himself a successful president and promising millions new high paid jobs, strong economy, full employment, quick income raise and record prosperity.
Tahir Javed played the lead role for biggest fundraiser event for Presidential candidate Vice president Joe Biden last month. The event was attended by approximately 275 men and women and $1.3M were raised on a virtual call moderated by Farooq Mitha and Atissa Ladjevardian from the Biden’s campaign. Tahir Javed thanked the co-chair and the co-hosts including Ismael Basha, Nomi Husain, Mustafa Tameez, Shahid Javed, Abrahim Javed, Dr. Asam Asad, Dr. Mohsin Ansari,Dr. Ateequ Rehman Khan,Hala Hijzai, Mohammad Soltan,Dr. Ijaz Ahmad,Ambassador Islam Siddiqui,Khurram Wahid,Delawar Hussain,Frank Islam,Joe Sufi Ahmad,Hachem Domloj,Chudary Aslam Dhillon, Amal Suri and said this would not have been possible without their support.
Tahir Javed also held a private conversation with Vice President Joe Biden prior to the event followed by a clutch with all the hosts and co-hosts and then the VP addressed the Muslim community who had joined . Biden started by addressing Muslim Americans, saying: “You can be key difference makers” in the election. Turning towards m muslim issues,
Former Vice President reiterated his stance to “champion a two-state solution” on Israel-Palestine and immediate stop on the human rights violations in (IIOK)Kashmir, Ughurs in China and Rohingyas in Myanmar. At this occasion, Biden elaborated on how he would fix the problem in Syria and how he immediately will lift the Muslim ban on the very first day of holding the office and will open the refugee program. Vice President ended the event by emphasizing that he will ensure that the Muslims are a real visible partner.Tahir Javed said we as Muslim-Americans are essential to the American fabric, and the leadership of this country working with Muslim-American communities is critical to ensuring that Muslim-Americans are uplifted and empowered, and that our issues of concern are addressed within our democracy. We are a diverse, vibrant part of the United States, making invaluable cultural and economic contributions to communities all across the nation. The election is coming up and we need to show our support to have the right candidate at the highest office of this nation. We need a leader that unites us rather than divides us. Someone who stands up and acts like a leader and for this presidential election I am supporting Joe Biden.
In his message,Tahir Javed said there is a lot of chaos and people are divided in this four year presidency of Donald Trump,this country needs one direction and president like Joe Biden .He said people lost their jobs,health care protection and with the corona virus ,even they lost their liberties.At this stage, we need experienced politician from the mainstream who can put the country towards one direction, bring hope ,prosperity and jobs for every American . Republican leader and head of Muslim voices for Trump, Sajid Tarar met with first family and assured Muslims vote for Trump .He said it was an honor to be a part of RNC convention celebration with the first family. He paid his gratitude to President Trump for making “Muslim Voices for Trump” a part of his campaign.
He also thanked”Muslim Voices for Trump” team Shahid Raza Ranjha, Afzaal Ahmad Malhi, Ch Qassar Bhutta, Imran Butt,Saleem Mughal, Ghazala Habib, Asad Khan, Akram Butt, and thousands of Muslims all over the United States who made “Muslim Voices for Trump” possible with their support.
Sajid Tarar said that Trump will end lawlessless,chaos and politics of violent protests after his re-election as President.Tarar described Trump as non traditional politician who have delivered majority of his promises and said best is yet to come.He said it is honor as Pakistani Muslim to be invited in the RNC convention in the White House.
He claimed the opinion in this his election is turning toward Donald Trump and he will be re-elected as people are fed up with the loot and riots in the country.Tarar said America needs a strong president like trump who is not only good for America but also for the whole world.
