An Additional District and Sessions court sentenced a man to death for murdering his 14-year-old niece.
Additional Session Judge Rana Imran Shafi also fined the convict Rs500,000. Prosecutor Hafiz Obaid infomed the court that the police had recorded the testimony of 13 witnesses in the case.
Earlier this year, the convict identified as Muhammad Kashif gunned down his 14-year-old niece over some family issue.
The Factory Area Police had registered a case against him.
Upon completion of trial and testifying evidence against Kashif, the court pronounced the verdict, handing down death sentence to the murderer with a fine.
