Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed officials to ensure Karachi is fully prepared for the upcoming AMAN Exercise & Dialogue, scheduled from February 7 to 12.
Chairing a meeting at the CM House, Shah reviewed preparations alongside Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal, the Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Commissioner Karachi, and senior officials from the Pakistan Navy, Rangers, and other institutions.
Vice Admiral Faisal briefed attendees on the event, which will take place from February 7 to 11, bringing together naval delegations from 56 countries, including multiple Naval Chiefs. Calling the event vital for Karachi, Shah stated, “It is very important,” and assured that his government would extend a warm welcome to all visiting guests.
He instructed the Karachi Mayor to ensure essential civic improvements, including better street-lights, an upgraded sewerage system, road repairs, and enhanced cleanliness.
