ISLAMABAD –  Renowned actress and TV host Mishi Khan on Thursday expressed her displeasure over an alleged arrogance of Arshad Nadeem, the gold medalist in Javelin Throw at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The video circulating on social media shoowed Arshad Nadeem ignoring a local reporter from Mian Channu.

In the video, the reporter asked Nadeem how he felt after becoming a champion, but Nadeem walked away without responding.

The reporter followed him, microphone in hand, and asked why he is not willing to speak despite it being a joyous occasion.

Nadeem said that he was getting late and continued to leave.

As the video went viral, the users on social media defended Nadeem, saying that journalists and media should respect individuals’ privacy.

On the other hand, actress Mishi Khan reacted to the viral video, saying that money and fame often lead people to become arrogant.

Mishi Khan sarcastically remarked, “Wow! What arrogance. Certainly, you were running late, but you could have at least answered the question.”

It may be mentioned here that Arshad Nadeem is a national hero who won Pakistan’s first Olympic gold medal in 40 years by throwing the javelin 92.97 meters at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Previously, Pakistan’s last Olympic medal was a bronze in the hockey event on August 8, 1992, and the last gold medal was also in hockey, won in 1984.
