The revenue of the mines department Punjab, has increased due to the special efforts of Secretary Mines & Minerals Punjab. Mines & Minerals Department, Punjab has achieved the record Revenue target assigned by the Government during Current Financial Year.
Spokesman for the department said that department is likely to collect around Rs 2 billion above target by the end of Current Financial Year despite heavy crunch in economy, less consumption and uncertain conditions.
Targets were given by the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary Punjab. Mines & Minerals Department working on principle of ZERO TOLERANCE against Corrupption; and, cases against mega Corruption sent to Anti-Corruption Establishment to plug loopholes and hemorrhage.
Plan prepared to increase Revenue to more than 400% of the current target.
Huge potential areas identified and shared with Resource Mobilisation Committee and Chief Minister Office.
All the best achievers shall be appropriately rewarded and all those lagging behind shall be punished accordingly.
The success is attributed to Institutional Strengthening, much needed reforms, Zero Tolerance against Corruption, honest team effort and trust reposed on the team by the present dispensation.
