Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz said that concerted efforts would be made to empower and bring more young people and minorities into the forefront of politics.
Maryam Nawaz underscored the PML-N’s commitment to expanding the role of youth and minorities in politics, emphasizing that the youth constitute the nation’s capital, and their development is integral to the country’s progress.
Maryam made these remarks during a session where members and officials of the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) and minority wing actively participated.
Expressing contentment over the performances of the MSF and minority wing in preparation for the upcoming elections on Feb 8, Maryam emphasized the need to intensify election activities nationwide.
“The focus will also be on mobilizing the youth in all four provinces, as well as in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” said the sources.
They said that Maryam Nawaz asserted that under leadership of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, the country would experience positive transformation leading to prosperity.
Maryam highlighted Nawaz Sharif’s vision of placing the youth at the forefront of political activities during general elections, as they are the future leaders.
She stressed that the active participation of minorities in election activities would further strengthen democratic values.
