Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday said that Maryam Nawaz’s black deeds can’t be hidden by hiding behind the judicial system.
“Maryam is playing hide and seek with the honorable courts, which in fact is mocking the constitution.”
Talking to the media, Dr Firdous said the development process was limited to Jati Umrah in the past but now the PTI government has shifted the focus of development to every area of the province.
She said the PTI government has extended the development process to backward areas as progress is the right of every locality.
The government is determined to facilitate the masses and resolve people’s problems at their doorsteps, she said.
The Special Assistant said the CM will visit every district of the province to ameliorate the lot of the common man and to ensure speedy progress and resolution of public problems.
The development package of each district will be finalized with the consultation of peoples’ representatives of the concerned district, she said.
Dr Firdous said the series of CM’s district tours has started from today and the CM announced Rs10 billion development package for Sheikhupura.
In line with its commitment to establish universities in every district, the government is going to establish Waris Shah University in Sheikhupura district and all the necessary steps are being taken in this regard, she said.
She said the promises made with the journalist community will also be fulfilled and health cards will be provided to journalists on a priority basis.
The SACM said the CM is transforming the province towards genuine development as he announced a development package worth Rs7.2 billion for the people of Hafizabad and inaugurated four projects at the cost of Rs7.84 billion in Gujranwala including Ghakhar Sports Arena and Gujranwala Arts Council Auditorium.
The N-League mafia made the people hostage by patronizing petty gangs and thugs at the local level and indulged in politics of extortion, corruption and rigging but now this style of politics will not work anymore and the era of real public welfare and prosperity will flourish, concluded the SACM.
