LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday decided to contest the upcoming elections from the NA-119, Lahore.
Captain (retd) Safdar Awan revealed the decision of his spouse regarding the fast approaching election.
The NA-119 constituency, known for its political significance, is poised to witness a closely watched electoral contest, with Maryam Nawaz’s entry adding to the political fervor.
Just two days ago, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media activist Sanam Javed decided to contest in the upcoming general elections against Maryam Nawaz.
Sanam, who has been detained in jail for several months following the May 9 riots, would submit his nomination papers from PP-150, her father revealed.
Sanam’s father said his daughter would be contesting against Maryam Nawaz in the upcoming elections. The necessary documents for her participation in the election are being compiled.
