PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has showered praise on her Uncle Prime Minister for wasting no time and kept working even during his brief flight to Karachi.

In a tweet uploaded on Wednesday, Maryam Nawaz said “This is how it is done when the country is in pain and anxiety. Not a single moment is wasted because this time is the trust of the nation! Well done Shehbaz Sharif.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remained busy chairing a meeting about economic matters on his Karachi-bound flight on Wednesday. The prime minister arrived in Karachi on a one-day visit where he was received by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and members of his cabinet at Karachi Airport.

Earlier on Tuesday, the prime minister had also summoned an urgent meeting of economic experts to discuss the current financial challenges faced by the country. Chaired by PM Shehbaz, the meeting was attended by prominent economists who deliberated upon the ways and means to find a solution for financial stability.

The prime minister was given a briefing on the data on the national balance sheet and fiscal deficits. Important decisions were taken in line with the recommendations of the experts.
