PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz warned the party’s women senators that those who did not work won’t get tickets in the future on Saturday.
‘Which is the ‘selfie group’, I know,’ she remarked at a meeting of women party senators in Lahore as the PML-N gets ready to host the PDM rally scheduled for December 13.
Maryam Nawaz is holding a series of meetings with party leaders and workers, including women, as part of efforts to mobilise the party before the showdown in the provincial capital.
Earlier on Friday, sources said that the PML-N had prepared a plan in connection with the PDM rally under which Maryam will participate in different public gatherings and events from December 7 to December 10. A meeting held at the party’s Model Town secretariat with senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique in the chair decided that the PML-N vice-president will lead a rally in northern Lahore on December 7.
