The district and sessions court in Islamabad has sought arguments regarding the maintainability of the illegal Nikah case against former PTI chairman Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah heard the illegal marriage case against the former first couple on Tuesday.

During the hearing, Bushra’s ex-husband Khawar Manika’s domestic servant Muhammad Latif recorded his statement after which the statements of all four prosecution witnesses of the case were recorded. Muhammad Latif recorded his statement in the presence of the petitioner’s lawyer Rizwan Abbasi.

While recording his statement, Manika’s servant Muhammad Latif said that former PTI chairman used to visit Bushra Bibi in her house before their marriage. Imran and Bushra Bibi would go in a room and indulged in ‘indecent activities’. The servant said when he entered Bushra Bibi’s room, the former PTI chairman started abusing him and would ask him to get out. He said he used to do his master Khawar Manika’s bidding who asked him to keep an eye on them.
