A man was arrested for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl while being disguised as a transgender person, police said on Thursday.

The suspect was arrested in the Nawab Town area of Lahore for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl while being disguised as a transgender person.

According to the police, the suspect, dressed as a transgender person, convinced the little girl to go with him to a secluded area, where he allegedly raped her.

The police were informed of the incident on their helpline 15, which arrested the suspect from Nawab Town area of Lahore and started an investigation.—INP
