Major relief announced for car, motorcycle owners in Karachi

KARACHI – The traffic police Karachi have abolished collection of lifting charges for motorcycles and cars illegally parked outside all shopping centers till Eidul Fitr 2024.

DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz, while announcing for the citizens of Karachi, said that the cars and motorcycles lifted after Iftar will be returned without any charges.

He also appealed to the public not to park their vehicles at places that disrupt the flow of traffic.

He said that traffic police officers have been instructed to refrain from issuing unnecessary challans to citzens. The DIG said the officials however have been directed to issue tickets for violations of one-way and wrong-way driving.

Citizens of Karachi have gone on shopping spree to celebrate the upcoming Eidul Fitr 2024, which is expected to fall on April 10.
