Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twenty-four hours Temperature of major cities recorded. Islamabad and Muzafarabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore thirty, Karachi thirty-one, Peshawar twenty-two, Quetta sixteen, Gilgit fifteen and Murree seventeen degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula while hot and dry weather in Jammu. Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Anantnag fifteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-seven, Leh seven, Pulwama and Shopian fourteen and Baramula sixteen degree centigrade.

Meanwhile the Meteorological Department predicted on Sunday that the weather is likely to remain dry and hot in most districts of the province. “Severe heat is likely in the southern districts of the province,” the Meteorological Department official said. “The daytime temperature is likely to be 2°C to 5°C degrees centigrade above normal in southern districts,” the official of the Meteorological Department said.—INP
