According to details, City Capital Police Officer (CCPO) Omar Sheikh had held an open court yesterday in which he received majority of the complaints against the land grabbers and illegal occupation mafia.

The Mansha bomb managed to escape in front of the raiding police. CCPO Omar Sheikh said that occupation mafia had made the lives of innocent citizens miserable, reiterating the police pledge to protect the life, honor and property of the common at all costs. The CCPO directed that there should be left no space for the land grabbers and they should be rooted out once and for all.
It should be recalled that former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar had ordered action against the Mansha bomb. He was then arrested but was later released in all cases.
A few days ago, a high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of the CCPO to review a crackdown on land grabbers, drug dealers and gambling dens. The meeting also fine-tuned a foolproof plan for the elimination of street crimes, bank robberies and crimes in hotspot areas from the provincial metropolis.
It was decided at the meeting that big fish would be caught in the crackdown.
It is to be noted that the crime, especially land grabbing, has plagued the city as most of these mafia is being backed by influential people like politicians.
