LWMC lifts more than 8K tons waste

The Lahore Waste Management Company is all up and alert to provide best possible cleanliness services to the citizens of Lahore.

CEO LWMC Mr Imran Ali Sultan directed to ensure all resources in the field to clear the entire backlog.

More than 400 vehicles remained in the field for the timely lifting of waste from all the sore points whereas more than 9 thousand workers are present in the field to ensure the cleanliness in the city.

LWMC has conducted special cleanliness operation with the help of additional machinery and lifted more than 08 thousand tons of waste.

CEO LWMC stated that to maintain cleanliness is our topmost priority and department is working day and night in this regard.

All the senior officials are monitoring the ongoing cleanliness operation. The department will not disappoint the citizens of Lahore and best cleanliness arrangements would be ensured in the city.

Furthermore, GM Operation Sohail Anwar Malik paid visit to multiple areas of the city to monitor the ongoing operation.

He visited Singhpura Mandi, Mughalpura, Shalamar Bagh, Garhi Shahu, Mayo Hospital, Abbott Road, Laxmi Chowk and Nisbat road followed by the other areas of the city. During his visit he listened to the complaints of citizens and directed the staff to ensure timely lifting of solid waste.

Spokesperson LWMC stated that the department is working with full zeal and zest but at the same time citizens should cooperate with LWMC by proper disposal of solid waste.

Citizens can always dial LWMC helpline 1139 or can use mobile application Clean Lahore for their waste related complaints.
