LWMC chairman seeks people’s support on Eid

Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chairman Riaz Hameed Chaudhry has appealed to all the departments for collaborative efforts and support during Eid-ul-Azha for successful cleanliness operation in the provincial capital.
He chaired an important meeting with respect to cleanliness operation on upcoming Eid-ul-Azha at Lahore Waste Management Company`s head office. PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhary, PHA chairman, WASA vice chairman, Lahore Waste Management Company MD, Lahore Waste Management Company DMD, LWMC GM Operations, LWMC spokesperson, Turk contractors and officials from Pakistan Railway, EPA, Commissioner Office, City Traffic Police, MCL and other officials participated in the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to resolve all issues with mutual consent faced by LWMC and Turk contractors during Eid-ul-Azha.
The Lahore Waste Management Company chairman said that Lahore is our home and providing effective cleanliness is our top most priority. He said that our Turk contractors are using all of their resources, machinery and manpower in the field.
Lahore Waste Management Company has been collecting more than 50,000 tons of waste during 3 days of Eid-ul-Azha and even on this year Lahore Waste Management Company with the help of its implementing partners and other departments will provide exceptional cleanliness services to the citizens of Lahore.
PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhary stated that LWMC performance in the city has been commendable, their workers are doing one of the most difficult job and they should must be acknowledged and supported by public.
The Lahore Waste Management Company spokesperson said that special support is required from the public as without their cooperation LWMC cannot maintain cleanliness in the city. For waste related complaints specifically public and dial Lahore Waste Management Company Helpline 1139 or can use mobile based application Clean Lahore.
