MUBASHAR NAQVI MUZAFFARABAD The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) cabinet on Monday reviewed the ongoing lock-down situation in the state besides discussing different proposals for the future strategy during the holy month of Ramazan. Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan presided over special meeting of the cabinet here on Monday. Addressing on the occasion, the Prime Minister suggested that ongoing lock-down could be relaxed on trial basis with strict implementation on precautionary measures. ‘If public didn’t observed recommended precautionary measures, it could be tightened again’, he added. He further said that final decision would be made after thorough consultation at all levels. Raja Farooq Haider directed Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana to sought suggestions from all districts and divisions to take final decision in this regard on 23rd of this month. ‘Decision would be made after taking all schools of thoughts into confidence’, he announced. He said we are passing through the emergency situation and we will have to prepare ourselves to live in such situation. The Prime Minister said that government is fully aware of the problems being faced by the daily wagers. ‘All those who can afford come-forward and give saddaqaats (charity) during the holy month of Ramazan’, the PM added.
