In the Layyah land corruption case, the Lahore High Court on Friday granted protective bail to the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which will be affective until June 26.
Despite being summoned by the Anti-Corruption Establishment for the third time on June 22 regarding the Layyah land scam, the PTI chairman did not attend the proceedings.
The ACE spokesperson expressed concern over the PTI chief’s repeated failure to appear before the authority. The initial summons by ACE was issued on June 19, with a direction for the PTI chief to appear on June 16.
