LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Monday, LDA teams partially demolished three and sealed 26 buildings for violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Allama Iqbal Town.
The sealed properties include general stores, saloons, food points, private schools, and others. LDA Chief Town Planner-I Assad-uz-Zaman supervised the operation which was carried out by enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
