LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Monday, LDA teams demolished/sealed five buildings for violation of building bylaws in Architect Society, Wapda Town, Lahore Avenue and Johar Town for violation of building bylaws. LDA teams also sealed 14 premises for not paying commercialization fee.
LDA Director Town Planning Zone-IV Ali Nusrat supervised the operation which was carried out by enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
