A sigh of relief for commuters as Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2) remains operational on Sunday, with all sections open, including Chakri section. As per updates shared by NHMP, advisory M1 motorway remains clear for traffic.
Lahore Traffic Police reported all metropolis entry and exit points are accessible, with normal traffic flow on the Eastern Bypass. In capital city Islamabad, the Kashmir Highway is open, but some containers remain at 26 Number Chungi, which are being prioritized for removal.
Motorway Update
The deputy commissioner of Rawalpindi confirmed that all roadblocks in the city have been cleared, although the Faizabad stretch is still closed. Motorists are advised to stay updated on road conditions.
