Lahore Bar Association elects Munir Bhatti as chief

Munir Hussain Bhatti Saturday clinched victory with an impressive 3834 votes, securing the coveted position of president for the 2024-2025 term of the Lahore Bar Association (LBA).

According to unofficial results, Rana Naeem Tahir emerged triumphant in the secretary category, garnering 4010 votes, while Rawat Hussain Sharif secured 2299 votes to claim the second secretary seat.

The Vice President positions witnessed successful campaigns by Rana Imran Sarwar with 2615 votes and Nisar Akbar Bhatti with 2931 votes. Malik Asif Iqbal with 2242 was elected vice president on the Model Town seat. The Vice President seat for Cantt was secured by Waris Ali Gujjar, amassing an impressive 4212 votes. Rana Umar Farooq clinched the position of Joint Secretary with a landslide victory, securing 2050 votes. The Finance Secretary seat went to Zubair Gujjar, who garnered 5028 votes, demonstrating significant support from the legal community. The crucial role of the Auditor was claimed by Imran Syed, who declared success with 3054 votes.
